If replacing the T/C for shudder related complaints, it is important that the break-in cycle be completed before servicing the T/C. Usually this can take up to 200 miles. Verify the complaint by making sure the shudder experienced is occurring during T/C slip operation and not during upshifts or full lock T/C operation.
