Issue 1: For all rearview mirrors that are having u-connect or next-gen telematics issues, please have the makes and models of all cell phones used in the vehicle documented with the claim. This includes claims that appear to have no connection issues but states connection issue or no cconnection to each phone. Verify customer's phone is listed on the compatibilty lists for the HFM. Also have the phones with connection issues available at dealership for duplication of the claim when vehicle is brought into the shop for service. For vehicles that have had dealership upgrades to the radio, verify that the mirror wiring (pinout) is compatible to the rearview mirror feature content prior to replacement. Issue 2: If you are ordering this part to address customer complaint that only one lens on the front of the mirror is illuminated, please let customer know that the mirror is performing as designed and do not replace the part. Although the lenses appear to be the same, they support different functions. One lens covers an LED which indicates that the dimming feature is turned on. The other lens covers a light sensor, and does not illuminate. This light sensor detects if a there is a vehicle coming from behind, shining light into the driver's eyes. ______________________________________ Contact Us at CAGRIS@Chrysler.com for feedback related ONLY to this GPOP Tech Tip.
